MAGREDI BY CARRIAGE
With a nature guide to discover the silence of the Magredi, Living the steppe
In the endless spaces of the gravelly river beds of Cellina and Meduna Rivers, silence speaks more than any other noise and the illusory emptiness of the Magredi landscapes tells us more than anything else about the greatness of a moving, free and pristine nature.
Tour Family 1 day
Domenica 18th June 2017, – at 09.30 : Magredi by carriage
At “località Parareit” – Comune di Cordenons (PN) – the “MAGRAID, Running in the Steppea” race’s Base Camp…. From here our adventurous carriage trip will begin. We will go trough dirt roads, immerse into Magredi, and after 6km we will reach the Magredi of San Quirino’s biotope. We will walk trough it, guided by a naturalistic expert, diving into the flora and watching the fauna of the surrounding environment, which is protected as a Site of Community Interest (www.magraid.it). We will continue in the heart of Magredi, to reach the race course and support the athletes. We will return to the Magraid Base Camp by lunch time.
Local wine tasting on site – wine produced by wineries in the Magredi’s Grave area. We will return toward the tour starting area admiring the Friulian Dolomites, which have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Site.
TOUR DETAILS
Price: € 25,00 par person/adult – € 10,00 par child from 6 to 12 years old. The tour will take place only if there will be at least 10 people enrolled by May, 31st 2017.
The price will include:
A guided tour by carriage trough the Magredi.

Saturday 17th june 2017: Pordenone and Spilimbergo
Arrival in Pordenone in the course of the day. Hotel accommodation. In the afternoon guided tour to School of Mosaic of Spilimbergo. After dinner welcome cocktail, and showing of the video Geo & Geo “Magredi terre magre”. Overnight stay.
